Rondal E. Petty

Rondal E. Petty, 69, Martinsville, died November 26, 2012, in Indiana University Hospital. Mr. Petty was born May 12, 1943, in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, to the late Cecil A. and Berniece (Hall) Petty.

He attended from George Washington High School in Indianapolis and retired from BDP/Carrier Corporation, after 30 years of dedicated service. He also served in the United States Army Reserves. Ron enjoyed building and racing motorcycles.

Survivors include his son, Richard A. Petty of Martinsville; brothers, Glendal Petty of Martinsville, Donald Petty of Paragon, and Wendell Petty of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Nancy and Rebecca Petty; one great grandchild, Jordan Wright; wife, Patty Petty.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 9 a.m. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.
