Roy Dean King, 66, of Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Mooresville. Born May 17, 1951, Roy was the son of Jack Ray and Ann Marie (Dezarn) King.
A life-long Mooresville resident, Roy graduated from Mooresville High School and worked as an auto detailer at Carson Chrysler in Plainfield for many years; he retired in 2013. After retiring, he enjoyed taking care of his home and taking family vacations.
Roy was preceded in death by his dad, Jack Ray King and his brother, Larry G. King.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Marie King of Mooresville; his loving wife of 17 years, Vicki J. (Kemp) King of Mooresville; three daughters, Jenny King of Ft. Myers, Florida, Yvonne Crum of Martinsville, and Elisha (Stacy) Crabtree of Muncie; two sisters, Donna J. Lambert of Mooresville, and Jackie S. Perry of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren, Ava Grace, Rachael, Marie, Desiree, Shaya, and Janson.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Roy Dean King from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
