Sandy Robling, 69, Mooresville, died March 13, 2012, in St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove. Sandy was born November 2, 1942, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to the late Edward Charles and Evelyn Jane (Morris) Shroyer.
She graduated from Warwood High School in Wheeling West Virginia and also attended Liberty College. Sandy enjoyed working at Dreyer Honda from 1985 until her retirement in 2006. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Sandy loved all things to do with motorcycles, especially drag racing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Shroyer.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Robling, to whom she was united in marriage July 17, 1982; son, Scott Westfall (Cheri) of Mooresville; daughter, Lee Ann Carter of Monrovia; brother, Bob Shroyer, of Ohio; grandchildren, Nicholas and Samuel Westfall; son-in-law, Kevin Carter of Mooresville; mother-in-law, Betty Robling of Mooresville.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Sandy’s life on Thursday, March 15, 2012, 4 - 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. A private graveside service will be held in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
