Scott Michael Patterson, 59, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away January 2, 2020 at Life’s Journey of Avon surrounded by his loving family. Scott was born November 16, 1960, in Rochester, Indiana, to Mike and Sally (Clark) Patterson, who survive.
Scott proudly served in the United States Airforce. He was an engineer for L3 Harris Line training military pilots in the simulator for over 20 years. Scott enjoyed to travel and over the years had been able to visit 15 different countries. Scott was a member at First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed cooking, stained glass, carpentry, chess, camping, but most of all spending time with his 10 nieces and nephews. Scott is going to be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his fiancé, Anne Lewis; parents, Mike and Sally; and brothers, Jerry (Joan), Bob (Mary), Brian (Karen), and Tim (Angie).
Celebration of life will be Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., January 11, 2020 at First United Methodist Church. Service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
