Sharon E. Harper, 76, Mooresville, died March 10, 2012, in Kindred Hospital South, Greenwood. She was born June 11, 1935, in Indianapolis, to the late Harry Raymond and Alma (Warren) Emmert.
Sharon graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1953. She was a hostess at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Stouffers, and the Holiday Inn. She worked for a period of time at H&H Book Bindery and retired from the IRS in 1992, after working there for over 13 years. Sharon enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was a good cook and a great mother to her children.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby K Harper; twin infants and triplet infants; siblings, Tommy Emmert and Linda Ellen Emmert.
Survivors include her sons, Rickey Lee Harper of Indianapolis, Dale Bryon Harper of Indianapolis, Daniel Bruce Harper of Mooresville, Roger Dean Harper of Mooresville and Rodney Dee Harper of Mooresville; brothers, Richard Emmert of Indianapolis, Jerry Emmert of Indianapolis and Michael Emmert of Indianapolis; sister, Mary Belle Emmert of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Julie Ann, Kelly Rachelle, and Crystal Elaine Harper.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.
