Sharon Ellis

Sharon Ellis, 78, of Avon, passed October 22, 2019. She was born August 17, 1941, in Clay County, Indiana to Dale and Ethel (Keller) Rush.

Sharon was a faithful Protestant. She worked in the linen department for IU Medical Center for many years. Sharon enjoyed gardening, collecting salt and pepper shakers, puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Oliver Ellis; father, Dale Rush; a son, Paul Ellis; and a granddaughter, Erica Ellis.

Survivors include her children, Anthony (Patia) Ellis of Martinsville and Sandra (Dwight) Elliott of Indianapolis; mother, Ethel Rush of Indianapolis; a brother, Rob Rush of Columbus; and a sister, Marcia Rush of Indianapolis; grandchildren, David Lamour, Lindsay (Rick) Parrish; and great grandchildren, Abigail LeVar, Christian Lamour and Trent Lamour.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated and services will be held privately at a later date.
