Shirley Wilburn Spears Sharp, 86, of Camby, went home to be with the lord on February 10, 2020. Shirley was born February 22, 1933, in Elwood, Indiana, to the late Gilbert and Bessie (Jones) Wilburn.
She was a member of the Independent Christian Church for 53 years. She was blessed to have two Christian Husbands in her lifetime. She had 5 children, Stephen, Diana, Marsha, Kevin, and Timothy with Richard Spears. She was married 54 years to her first husband, Richard Spears, and nine years to her second husband, Joseph Sharp. Shirley was a homemaker with many interests. She loved to read, collect angels, bells, antiques, play cards, and travel. She was also a den mother and a bible study teacher. Joseph was a wonderful caregiver and great support in her last days on earth. She was truly blessed with a wonderful family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Spears; two sons, Kevin and Stephen Spears.
Survivors include her second husband, Joseph Sharp; children, Timothy Spears, Diana McClure, and Marsha Spears; 6 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation hours will not be observed; service will be Thursday February 13, 2020, 7 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. A private burial will be at Poplar Ridge Cemetery, Carmel, Indiana. As much as she loved flowers, she would like for you to use your gift to donate to The Gideons International, Wounded Warriors, and Wheeler Mission Ministries, downtown in her honor. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry. God bless each one who reads this. Amen
