Sonya Jo Armitage

Sonya Jo Armitage, age 47, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013. Born July 21, 1966, in Martinsville, she was the daughter of F. Keith and Janice (Henry) Lowry. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Sonya was a financial consultant at Chase Bank for 9 years. She was involved with Overcoming Together, was passionate about spreading ovarian cancer awareness, and a dog lover.

Survivors include her children, Nick Gibson and Darci Jo Armitage; her father, F. Keith Lowry; her sister, Jennifer Wagoner; and her soon to arrive granddaughter, Lilah Rae Gibson.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with burial at Centerton Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
