Stephen F. Donovan

Stephen F. Donovan, 75, of Mooresville, IN passed away peacefully in his home on June 13 2015. Steve was born in Chicago, IL on May 6, 1940 and is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Phyllis Donovan.

He resigned his commission as an Army First Lieutenant and served the US Government for most of his career. Steve loved to travel and lived in many different states, including NY, VA, CA, IL, IN, and MD. After retirement, Steve volunteered at Meals on Wheels, Hope Meadows and at his local parish.

He will be greatly missed by his family, including his loving wife, Kathy Moyers. Beloved brother to Christine Miller, Leslie Conlan, Phyllis (Robert) Baker and Thomas (Emma) Donovan. Loving father to his children and step children, Stephen (Priscilla) Donovan, Susan (David) Carey, Brian (Joelle) Donovan, Robert (Carrie) Donovan, Lorrie (Robert) Wilson, Cara (Joseph) Buitron, Leslie (Brian) Mansky, Richard (Desi) Moyers. Steve has 16 cherished grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Orland Park, IL on July 10th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels, The National Stroke Association, or to 'Generations of Hope', a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
