Susan F. Joyner
70, of Mooresville, passed away on December 28, 2018 at St Francis Hospital South. Susan was born on August 15, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John W. Joyner and Myra (Hungerford) Joyner.
Susan received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Indiana State University. She taught third through fifth grades for many years in the Mooresville School Corporation at Newby Elementary and Northwood Elementary. She was also an active member at the Mooresville Friends Church, playing the Bell Choir and serving at Presiding Clerk, where she was responsible for the churches business and presenting it at monthly meetings for consideration by the congregation.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Jack (Dottie) Joyner; nieces, Jennifer (Jason) Yost, Becca (Rick) Helminski; nephews, John (Nikki) Joyner, Stephen Joyner; dear friends, Betty (John) Heshelman and Pam Janos and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday Jan. 7th from 4-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday Jan. 8th from 10am until the services at 11am at the Mooresville Friends Church.
Burial of her cremated remains will follow the service in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
