Teresa M. Medina

Teresa M. Medina, 51, Mooresville, passed away peacefully at home March 12, 2021. Teresa was born June 7, 1969, in Danville, Kentucky.

She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1987. Teresa was employed for the past 16 years for Damar Services, where she excelled and was promoted to manager and was an advocate for many. She was an incredibly giving person whose greatest hobby was helping others. She cared for other people and was good at putting the needs of others before her own. She will be fondly remembered for her warm and caring nature. Those who were fortunate enough to call Teresa a friend or family member are enriched for knowing her. She was greatly looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild, Baby Isabella, into the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Phyllis Chapman and Bonnie Rogers; sister, Christina Rash.

Survivors include her children, Lucio (Katelynn Parrish) Medina II and Cheyenne (Keaton Shugars) Medina; father, Bobby Rogers; siblings, William (Gail) Chapman, Donna (Robert) Kinkead, Dawn (Allen) Rogers, Robin (Kevin) Sleek, Stephanie (Steve) Gyetko, Shahona (Shelly) Rogers; granddaughter on the way, Isabella Claire Marie Medina; a host of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021, 2 to 4 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. An opportunity to share a favorite Teresa memory will be offered at 4 p.m. Cremation will follow services at the Morgan County Crematory.
