Theresa Alice Staggs

60, of Mooresville, passed away on June 12, 2017 at Meadow Lakes in Mooresville. Theresa was born on May 12, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Glenn A. Lawson and Linda M. (Hall) Cox.

She was preceded in death by her father Glenn, sister Laura Lawson and a daughter Raeann Staggs.

Theresa worked for Allison Transmission for 37 years, before retiring. When she wasn’t working she enjoyed camping, fishing, reading and sewing. However, it was her children and family that brought her the greatest joy! She was a lovely lady who was very strong and full of grace. She was a member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church and the Lynhurst Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her mother Linda M. (Hall) Cox, sons; Jason May, Aaron (Katelyn) Staggs, Andrew Staggs, a daughter; Emily (Collin) Geisking, a brother; Chris Lawson, two grandchildren Gavin and Gema and her beloved cat Charlie.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 14th from 4-8pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 15th at 1:00pm at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church- 5625 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery.
