Theresa Carr Coffey

Theresa Carr Coffey, age 60, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was born on June 1, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late Austin and Alice Harris Carr.

She worked as a parking attendant for IUPUI for ten years. She loved animals had two beloved dogs Pebbles and Cocoa and her cat KC “ Kitty Cat”, and enjoyed fishing with her friends. She was known for her great sense of humor and was loved by many.

She leaves behind her life partner of over 16 years, Barb Abels; her son, Stephen E. Carr (Tina) of Speedway, her sister, Janet Ann Shrum ( Jerry) of Whiteland, a brother Ted Carr of Plainfield; her three grandchildren, Nathan Stinson, Ana Stinson and Carson Carr; five nieces and nephews, David Walls ( Tammie), Darla Cook, Deanna Colwell (Scott), Darrick Carr, and Bradley Carr.

Funeral services will be at 10AM, Friday at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service and Crematory with burial to follow at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville. Pastor Dave Thurman will be conducting the funeral service. Visitation will be held from 4PM until 8PM on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society.
