Thomas A. Buckrop Sr.

Thomas A. Buckrop Sr., age 51, of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 28, 1962 in Indianapolis to Norman and Joyce Buckrop.

He graduated from Cascade High School in 1981. He provided for his family by working in home healthcare for over 25 years, he most recently worked at the Scooter Store as a mobility technician. Thomas was an active member of the Life Tabernacle in Indianapolis, he enjoyed all forms of music and was a self-taught drummer, he received most enjoyment by spending time with his family especially his grandson Israel.

Surviving are his parents Norman and Joyce (Reid) Buckrop; his son, Thomas A. Buckrop Jr. (Anna) of Camby; his grandson, Israel Buckrop of Camby; his two brothers, Michael Buckrop of St. John and Tony of Merrillville; his sister, Kris Washington of Indianapolis.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Life Tabernacle in Indianapolis with Pastor Danny McAdams conducting the service. Services entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Israel Buckrop College Fund.
