Thomas Martin Studer, 45, Mooresville, passed away at home November 27, 2019. Tom was born May 6, 1974, in Indianapolis, to Eldon and Linda (Brown) Studer, who survive.
He graduated from Monrovia High School and furthered his education at Lincoln Technical Institute. Tom worked as a mechanic for 20 years at various businesses including A & A Transmission, Skillman, and Gas Alley. Most recently, he was an assembly mechanic at ET Works Inc./Apache in Mooresville. Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and Minnesota. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, a caring and compassionate personality, and his love for his two sons.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his two boys, Hunter Martin Studer and Fisher Thomas Studer, both residing at home; sister, Christina (Richard) Zike of Mooresville; niece, Elizebeth Zike; nephew, Kevin Huskisson; significant other, Mindy Phipps; former spouses, Angela Johnson and Jill Rork; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time. Burial will follow at the Bethel Friends Church Cemetery, Mooresville. Memorial contributions may be made to Tom’s sons due to his untimely death.
