Timothy David Gordon

Timothy David Gordon, 79, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born in Rogers City, Michigan on October 28, 1945, to the late Clayton and Eleanor Gordon. Tim graduated from Rogers City High School and was later drafted into the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. 

Tim married Suzette (Kierzek) Gordon on August 10, 1968, and she preceded him in death in 2023. He worked as a machinist for Besser Company in Alpena, Michigan for 40 years before his retirement. 

Tim liked fishing and woodworking. Traveling, gambling, and attending concerts were some of Tim and Suzette’s most memorable times together. His gentle nature was evident in the way he cared for others. Above all, Tim was a devoted husband and father. 

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his wife, Suzette Gordon; brothers, Clayton “Barry” and Jim Gordon; and sisters, Diane Toon and Kathy Kamyszek.

Survivors include his daughter, Yvette Gordon (Amy Quinn) of Camby; brother, Paul Gordon (Shirley); and several nieces and nephews. 

Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory is handling Tim’s cremation arrangements. Tim and Suzette will be buried together in Michigan at a later date.
