Timothy David Mayo

71, of Mooresville, passed away on December 18, 2023, at IU West Hospital. Tim was born on June 10, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Upon graduating High School, Tim started his career with United Parcel Service, working his way up from the docks to management, where he retired in 2003 after 34 years of service. Talented with his hands, he could fix just about anything. A self confessed “Gear Head”, he enjoyed fixing up muscle cars, often winning awards at car shows for his handiwork. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in the apple orchard as well as keeping his lawn in “golf course” shape, manicuring  and mowing perfect lines. He will be remebered for his big heart, who would help anyone in need and as well his strong character, always insisting on doing things the right way.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca (Loepker) Mayo; daughters Leslie Mayo, Monica Hamilton (Jeremy); son Adam Mayo (Wendy); brothers Mark Mayo, Jeffery Mayo; sisters Leah Snyder, Melissa Maynard; grandchildren Cynthia, Tyler, Demetri, Eian, Addison, Kegan, Camden, and a great grandson, Jaxson Walker.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Tim’s life on Tuesday, December 26^th from 2-4pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with family sharing time beginning at 4pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
