Timothy James Standeford

Timothy James Standeford, 64, of Mooresville, left this earthly life and completed his battle with cancer on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born on September 23, 1959 in Indianapolis to the late James Standeford and Mary Suzanne (Gainer) Standeford.

Tim grew up in Brooklyn and attended Martinsville Schools.  He worked as a union carpenter and was proud to be a member of the Local #758.  He was a member of the Mooresville American Legion Post #103.  He married Tamara “Tammy” Lynn Scott, on November 21, 1987.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and pheasant hunting.  Above all, he was a man who enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

Tim will be greatly missed by his family and friends including his wife, Tammy Standeford of Mooresville; daughters, Lindsay Rozzel of Mooresville and Haley Standeford of Mooresville; brothers, Bill Reardon of Cloverdale and Mike Galardo of Bedford; sister, Kelly Standeford-Ross of Martinsville; and granddaughter, Addison Rozzel of Mooresville. He was preceded in death by his father, James Standeford; mother, Mary Herbertz; and sister, Darlene Clifton Williams.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at the American Legion Post #103 in Mooresville on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  In keeping with his wishes, Tim’s earthly remains have been cremated.  Carlilse – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
