V. David Partlow

V. David Partlow, 69 of New Whiteland, passed away during the night on October 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 22, 1946 in Terre Haute to the late Vernon Samuel Partlow and Bonnie Bell (Carmen) Partlow; his mother survives.

On October 18, 1975 David was united in marriage to his loving wife, Carole N. (Nesbit) Partlow and she survives. David and Carole attended Emanuel Christian Church in Greenwood. He was employed with Sysco Food Service for 33 years. David enjoyed golf, working in his yard, travel and was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved life and having FUN with family and friends.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, other survivors include his children, Brian D. (Kristen) Partlow of Greenwood, Beth Batten of Indianapolis, Lisa (David) Mosley of Mesa, Arizona and Jennifer (Kerry) Patterson of Louisville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, Layla Partlow, Brenden Partlow, Stephen Keith, Lilliana Mosley, Jackson Mosley, Beau Curless, Hunter Coryell, Sydney Coryell, Ryan Patterson and Claire Patterson, and two great grandchildren, Ezra and Jasper.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27 in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Following cremation, his final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
