Virginia L. Wright

Virginia L. Wright, 80, of Mooresville, passed away May 28, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor. Virginia was born August 28, 1940 in Indianapolis, to the late John and Viola (McConnaha) Smith.

Virginia was a faithful Christian. For many years Virginia was a teacher’s assistant at IPS Scools. She enjoyed crocheting and reading a good book. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wright; and grandson, Stephen Johnson

Survivors include her children, James Wright, John (Jewell) Wright, Lois (Paul) Harkins, and Donna Patterson; brothers, Larry and James Smith; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation is on Thursday, June 3, 2021, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Graveside service will be at White River Baptist Cemetery, Buddha, Indiana Thursday June 3, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made out to the Alzheimer’s Association; envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
