Wanda Ruth Duncan
94, of Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, passed away on April 24, 2024 at American Village in Indianapolis. Wanda was born on May 3, 1929 in Jasonville, Indiana to the late Wesley Perry and Grace M. (Zimmerman) Perry.
Wanda was a faithful member of the Camby Community Church and volunteered at Churches in Mission in Mooresville. She will be remembered for her warm, kind, beautiful spirit, who touched everyone she met in a unique way. Her spirit will live on in those lives she touched, but she will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Floyd C. Duncan; daughter Ruth Ann Duncan; siblings Don Perry, Charles Perry, Madeline Marshall, Betty Wilson, and Clifford Zimmerman.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Duncan of Indianapolis, and Andrew (Kim) Duncan of Brownsburg; sister Jeanne Thomas; grandson Yuri (Jill) Duncan; granddaughters Marlo Duncan and Madison Brown.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Wanda’s life on Friday, May 3rd at 11:00am, at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with calling Friday, May 3rd from 10:00am until the services at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Peavey Cemetery, Clay County.
