Warren Guyer Grubb, Jr., 59, Mooresville, died suddenly July 30, 2013 at home. Warren was born March 16, 1954, in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1972. Warren was employed as a lineman at Indianapolis Power & Light for 30 years, retiring in 2002. Most recently, he was the electrician for the Town of Pittsboro. Community minded, Warren served as the Assistant Fire Chief for the former Mooresville Volunteer Fire Department and was also a volunteer EMT for Life Star Ambulance. He was a member of the Morgan County Civil Defense and the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #78. Warren enjoyed football, baseball, wrestling, NASCAR, but was especially proud of his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
Warren was preceded in death by his father, Warren Guyer Grubb, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda L. (Brown) Grubb, to whom he was united in marriage September 16, 1972; mother, Doris Jean (Kensinger) Grubb; son, Gary Grubb (Tracey) of Camby; daughter, Linda Boyd (Anthony) of Mooresville; brother, Wayne Grubb (Phyllis) of Mooresville; sister, Melanie Stanley of Mooresville; grandchildren, Maddison and McKenzie; Shelby, Kacey, Jasmyn, Jordyn, and Jacob.
The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation there from 2 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2013.
