Wendy Christine Denton

 56, of Beech Grove, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024. Wendy was born November 19, 1967 in Beech Grove to the late Kenneth Lee Tolen and Angela Jewell (McGinnis) Dufour, who survives.

Wendy worked as a sales associate for Walmart for several years. An animal lover at heart, she always had a pet of some kind. She had a creative side, as she enjoyed drawing and coloring. She also enjoyed listening to music. She loved the lake shore of Southern Michigan.

She is survived by her mother, Angie Dufour (Chris); daughters Elizabeth Ann White, Emily Christine Heeg; sister Julie Ann Linnerud (Jack), and a grandson Mason Fisher, stepmother Linda Tolen Brown, and Greg West, a true and faithful friend who stood by her side for the last 30 years.

Honoring Wendy’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. 

 The family is planning a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday, August 9 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1200 N. Indiana Street, Mooresville, Indiana 46158 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Social Hall, where a fried chicken dinner will be served.
