Robert L. Hubbard, 76, Indianapolis, passed away October 11, 2021, at his residence. Bob was born March 1, 1945, in Corydon.

He graduated from Ben Davis High School and proudly served as an airplane mechanic in the United States Air Force. His patriotism was an important part of Bob’s life. He worked as an engineer for Rolls Royce for more than 40 years. Bob was a member of Southwest Church of the Nazarene. Following his retirement, he became very involved in genealogy. He also worked on Find-A-Grave extensively and was interested in cemetery history. Bob was a talented woodworker, a John Wayne fan, and enjoyed jazz and music from the 40’s and 50’s. He will be fondly remembered for his friendliness, wisdom, intelligence, and interest in helping others.

Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Catherine (Brown) Hubbard; sons, William (Debbie) Hubbard, Robert A. Hubbard; daughters, Kim (Keith) Fertig, Dawn Hubbard, and Lisa Littlejohn; grandchildren, Ashlie, Ayden, Mason, Brittany, Devin, Ethan, Shelby, Macy, Jeremy, and Andrew; great grandchildren, Charlie and Christian. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Phillips.

Visitation for Bob Hubbard will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, 10 am to 12 Noon, at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will follow at 12 Noon.   1. Bob was such a great man! The love he had for his family is what everyone wishes for. I am so blessed to have witnessed his sense of humor and got to see his love for his family. I am sending up prayers for all of you. Rest In Peace Bob and God has another soldier in His army.
