Chris Branson
President/Owner
cbranson@carlislebranson.comChris began working in the funeral service industry when he was 17, during summers and holidays at Leppert Mortuary in Indianapolis. He is a graduate of Xavier University, Worsham College of Mortuary Science, and has been in funeral service since 1992. He was employed by Leppert Mortuary for 12 years, leaving there in 2005 as the general manager.
Chris, and his wife Mary Beth, purchased the funeral home from Sam Carlisle in January of 2007. They have two sons, Benjamin and Buddy. Chris enjoys the funeral service industry and serving the community in their time of need.
In addition to the day-to-day operation of the funeral home, Chris stays busy by serving in the community. He is active with the Mooresville Chamber of Commerce, Mooresville Senior Center, Mooresville Kiwanis Club, Mooresville Lions Club, Mooresville Masonic Lodge #78, and the St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus. He is a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Chris also serves as the Chairman of Citizens Bank and on the Franciscan Foundation Board of Directors.

Mary Beth Branson
Owner
Mary Beth brings a wealth of knowledge and personality to Carlisle-Branson that is much appreciated by the families we are honored to serve. She primarily enjoys working visitations, but also assists with family follow-up, after the service. Mary Beth spends much of her free time volunteering in the community. She serves on the Advisory Board of the United Way of Morgan County, is on the Board of the League of Miracles, and formerly served on the Literacy Coalition Board of Directors. She is actively involved at Saints Francis & Clare Catholic School, where she is a member of the school commission. Mary Beth is always available to assist our families in their time of need..

Greg Guffin, CFSP
General Manager & Licensed Funeral Director
gguffin@carlislebranson.comGreg Guffin has been serving families as a funeral director since 2017 at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. With nearly 30 years of experience, he is dedicated to guiding families with compassion. A lifelong resident of Central Indiana, Greg is actively involved in the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #78, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, and the Indiana Funeral Director's Association, where he serves as Secretary/Treasurer. He also contributes to the Vincennes University and Ivy Tech Funeral Service Advisory Boards.
Committed to lifelong learning, Greg graduated with honors from Vincennes University and earned an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Notre Dame. He holds the Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (C.F.S.P.) designation, requiring ongoing education beyond Indiana’s licensing standards.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loves traveling, fishing, playing basketball, and following sports teams like the Indiana Hoosiers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks. A dedicated race fan, he attends the Indianapolis 500 annually and supports family members in dirt track and go-kart racing.


Amber Miller
Office Manager
amiller@carlislebranson.comAmber Miller began working at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home in 2021 as the office administrator. Amber’s strong desire to help others and to grow professionally makes her a perfect fit for our staff. She is honored to help families in need and is especially proud to share personalized touches to honor loved ones, such as the Life Celebration products. A graduate of Decatur Central High School, Amber now resides in Greenwood with her two children. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, outdoor activities like kayaking and camping, movie nights, and visiting local attractions with her children.

Kennedy Downing
Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
kdowning@carlislebranson.comKennedy Downing has been serving families as a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer since 2023. She finds great fulfillment in helping families by creating a positive and lasting impression of their loved ones, ensuring that each service is unique and personalized to meet their needs.
A Greencastle native and Greencastle High School graduate, Kennedy earned her associate’s degree in Funeral Service from Vincennes University in 2019. She has also completed specialized instruction in embalming and reconstructive surgery, allowing her to provide families with a peaceful and lasting image of their loved ones. She values the kindness and warmth of the community she serves.
Kennedy is a devoted mother to her two children, Jayce and Tatum, and loves supporting them in their activities as a baseball and cheer mom. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, and riding roller coasters.

Corben W. Kinder
Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
ckinder@carlislebranson.comCorben Kinder has been serving families as a Funeral Director & Embalmer since 2023. He takes pride in getting to know each family's unique needs and believes in the importance of building connections to help them through the grieving process. With a servant’s heart, Corben finds great fulfillment in guiding families with care and compassion.
A proud Morgan County resident and Martinsville High School graduate, Corben is an active member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Martinsville. He values his community and is dedicated to serving families in their time of need.
Corben holds a degree in mortuary science and is a licensed funeral director. He believes that kindness and genuine care are essential qualities in funeral service. Outside of work, he enjoys home projects, attending theatrical performances, and spending time with his dog, Maverick, who also works at the funeral home. He is a VIP member at Beef and Boards Dinner Theater and an IU Auditorium season ticket holder, with Come From Away being his favorite performance. In the evenings, he enjoys reading, TV series, and walks with Maverick.

Christina Naughton
Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
cnaughton@carlislebranson.comChristina Naughton has been serving families as a Funeral Director since 2022. She feels blessed to build meaningful relationships with the families she serves and considers it an honor to provide compassionate and professional care to her community.
A dedicated member of the south side of Indianapolis, Christina has been involved in the community for many years and is a proud member of the Perry Township Kiwanis Club. She is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and brings expertise and empathy to her role.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys traveling and playing cards with her husband, Tim, as well as spending long weekends at their lake house in Michigan. They cherish time with their three children, Josh, J'Aimee, and Jordan, and their three grandchildren, Sawyer, Norah, and Gwen.

Cyndi Cooke
Greeter & Receptionist
Cyndi began working with the Carlisle-Branson team in late 2011. A licensed insurance agent, Cyndi is often the very capable associate our families meet when pre-planning services. Cyndi's friendly and thorough nature provide a great fit for those who wish to plan ahead. In an effort to always provide the very best service, Cyndi follows up with each family that is served to ensure that all of the needs and expectations were exceeded. Cyndi and her husband, Gary, have one daughter. Cyndi's schedule can be very flexible, and she is happy to meet families in the comfort of their own homes if that is preferred.

Bill Bailey
Service Assistant
William G. Bailey has been a valued member of the O'Riley-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory team since 2008. He appreciates the uniqueness of the funeral profession and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and compassionate team.
A lifelong resident of Mooresville, William graduated from Mooresville High School in 1966. After a successful career, he retired from the Indiana Farm Bureau before joining the funeral home, where he continues to serve families with care and professionalism.
William has been married to his wife, Judy, for 52 years, and together they have four adult sons—Greg, Scot, Kris, and Mark—as well as ten beloved grandchildren.

Wanda Davee
Greeter and Evening Receptionist
Wanda Kay Davee has been a warm and welcoming presence at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory since July 12, 2011. As a funeral greeter, she finds joy in working in a caring environment alongside a wonderful team. Her kind and friendly nature helps provide comfort to families during difficult times.
Originally from outside of Mooresville, Wanda attended Cascade High School. Family is incredibly important to her—she is one of 15 siblings and is a proud mother of three daughters, grandmother to one granddaughter and three grandsons, and great-grandmother to two great-granddaughters.
In her free time, Wanda enjoys gardening, tending to her flowers, hunting for treasures at garage sales, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her dedication to making every visitor feel welcome and supported makes her a valued part of our team.

Mike Haskins
Service Assistant
Mike Haskins has been employed by Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory since 2003, following his retirement from the Property Management Department of Indianapolis Power and Light. Mike graduated from Mooresville High School with the class of 1964 and married Susan Kirk Haskins. They have two daughters.

Lowell Jones
Service Assistant
Lowell Jones has been a service assistant with Carlisle-Branson since 2018. Now retired from Eli Lilly, Lowell enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church, fishing, raising cattle, and traveling. He is married to Carol Kinnett Jones, and is the father of three children and “Poppy” to eight grandchildren.

Randy Keeton
Service Assistant
Randy Keeton has been a dedicated member of the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory team since April 2003. He takes great pride in the high standards of care the funeral home provides to families and values working alongside a team of compassionate professionals.
Originally from Berryville, Arkansas, Randy attended Berryville High School before continuing his education at the University of Arkansas. Prior to his career in funeral service, he dedicated 39 years to the U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division, contributing to the study and management of the nation's water resources.
In his free time, Randy enjoys fishing, working with computers, and watching spectator sports. He cherishes time spent with his two sons and grandchild. His beloved wife, Karen, is now deceased, but her memory remains close to his heart.

Mike Smith

Michael Robert Smith joined the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory team in December 2023. He finds great fulfillment in welcoming guests, helping them feel at home, and working alongside a supportive team. His warm and inviting nature ensures that families feel comforted during their time of need.
Originally from Collinsville, Illinois, Michael had a long and successful career, retiring after 30 years with Kroger and 14 years at the Indianapolis 500 Speedway.
Michael and his wife, Karen, have built a wonderful family together, including one son, David, two daughters, Stacy and Pamela, and six beloved grandchildren.
In his free time, he enjoys volunteering, auto racing, and tending to flowers. His kindness, dedication, and commitment to serving others make him a valued member of our team.

Steve Remster
Service Assistant
Steve Remster joined the funeral home staff in early 2014. Steve is a 1964 graduate of Mooresville High School. He worked for 32 years at General Motors before retiring in 1996. For the past 17 years, he has been a school bus driver for the Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation. He is married to his wife, Sarah, and they have five children. In his spare time, Steve enjoys boating, camping and working with his antique clock collection.

Janet Yaraschefski
Greeter
Janet Yaraschefski joined Carlisle-Branson Funeral Home in October 2021 as a Greeter, bringing warmth and care to families during their time of need. She takes great pleasure in meeting and assisting the families who come through the doors, and she values the opportunity to work with the amazing staff.
As a retired teacher from Mooresville schools, Janet enjoys reconnecting with former students, their families, and fellow teachers when they visit the funeral home. Her extensive experience in community service, including volunteering at the USO, delivering Meals on Wheels, and greeting at Traders Point Christian Church, has helped her develop a natural ease in interacting with the public.
Outside of work, Janet cherishes time spent with her three grown children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. She is an active member of her church, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling.

Jacob Guffin
Transfer Team Specialist
Jacob joined the Carlisle Branson team in early 2025 as a transfer team specialist. He grew up in Plainfield and is a 2021 graduate of Avon High School. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, watching movies and tv shows. When the weather is nice, he loves to go fishing.
When asked about his role as a transfer team specialist, Jacob said "I love to be able to help people when they need you the most. Being there in the end, is a daily reminder of how precious life is."

Maverick
Family Comfort Specialist
Maverick has been a member of the Carlisle Branson staff since 2024 and has been our Carlisle-Branson four-legged teammate ever since. Since joining our team, Maverick has had a very positive impact on our families with his friendly personality and ability to recognize who may need a little extra support.In the evening Maverick goes home with our funeral director, Corben.
Chris and his entire organization did a wonderful job with mom’s funeral. Mom had deteriorated in the final weeks of her life, Carlisle Branson gave her dignity back, she was so pretty at the viewing, I know she would have been very happy with how good she looked.
