  1. Over the years, my path has crossed a lot of people who you never forget. They always approached life with a positive attitude, never ever knowing a stranger. They would give you the shirt off their back or loan you their last nickel. These people can be teased, made fun of and laugh at themselves without getting mad or upset. These people stand out at a party, because they make the party. These people are easy to spot at a party, because everyone is crowded around these people. There are not many people on this earth that makes you feel better when your having a bad day. These people make you forget about your problems, even when life turns upside down, they turn the frown right side up. My friend Dick Fields was certainly one of those people. Even though he gone, I’ll remember the stories, the laughter and the way he made me feel. I will miss Dick terribly but never forget his approach on life or the stories that help me get through each day. Thanks buddy for a great friendship! Joe Golding
