So very sorry to hear Bob passed away. What a great person. He will be missed.
Know that we are all thinking of you and smiling at the great memories we each have of Uncle Bob. Sending our love and prayers from your WI cousins,
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss… Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
So many memories. Our families have known each other for so long, starting with my grandfather (the beekeeper) and Mr. Gregory (the orchardman). The Methodist Church, neighbors on Tincher Road, Purdue alumni, in the 60’s Mr. Gregory letting us glean the corn from his field after it was picked, and of course the bird watching. When I was a young man, Mr. Gregory was the only adult in Mooresville that I knew who was knowledgeable about birds (other than my grandfather and mother). I am thankful that Bob and Phyllis were able to give me a visit when they were on their Alaska trip. I am proud and grateful to have had him for a neighbor and friend. He was one cool guy. Robin, Tracy, and I thought The Nature Conservancy was a very appropriate way to make a donation in Bob’s memory. Brad and Sharon Hunter
So sorry to hear this! I saw him this fall when I bought apples and he still enjoyed his job! He was a very kind man!
Such a kind man. When we moved to Mooresville 27 years ago and started going to FUMC, Bob was one of the first to introduce himself and welcome our family. I’ve been buying apples and peaches from him ever since. He will be missed. With Deepest Sympathy, Don & Sally Stultz
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have such fond memories of Uncle Bob growing up. Wish we could be there with you all. He will be missed. Praying for you. Love, Cathy and Tom
I will certainly miss Bobs smiling face, friends from our church times for 40 some years. An amazing interesting man, living his life with nature. Prayers for his family❤️
Cindy, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
Bob was a great man I had I had a world of respect for. When I went on the County Concil I looked to him as I knew he had a good head. He was Master of the Masonic lodge when I went in 50 years later he presented me with my. 50 year pin. My sympathy to all of his family
Our prayers are with you. Glenn and Becky Haveman Whiteland Orchard
Uncle Bob and his brother, Richard (my father) were best friends. They taught us that you are truly blessed when family are also friends. I will always remember his dry wit and big smile. Peace
So sorry we missed his service. Bob was always a person who greeted us with a friendly smile and kind words whether at the Church or at the Orchard. He also shared his knowledge about growing fruit. He will be missed. Rest in peace Bob and our prayers to family and other friends.
So glad to be able to watch the service this evening. My unique memory of Uncle Bob and Aunt Phyllis was their visit to Arizona and staying with us, and talking of bird watching. Fun to share my own family with them and relate as an adult. Praying for you all, and wish we could have been there. John and Connie M. (we chose to contribute to the Nature Conservancy, and we have open rooms here for visitors!)
Sorry we couldn’t make the service, but Jean and I are in quarantine. Bob always had time to talk to you about any subject. When a church Trustee he was always ready give thought provoking advice. We will miss seeing behind us on Sunday service. We will send a memorial in his name to The Nature Conservancy, which was important to him.
Red is appropriate! Thank you.
