My favorite thing to do with Grandma B was play backgammon. It was the only game I could beat her at. She was unbeatable at othello and Chinese checkers but I would play her anyways. In all my years of playing her at these games backgammon was the only game I had a chance at winning. I’m gonna miss our games together and her smile when she would win. I love you grandma.. Rest In Peace Marc Mccardle aka your favorite grandson lol
I remember playing Othello with her too and Wizard card game. I remember her saying “hoo hoo” when she couldn’t remember one of our ( 18 grandchildren)names when a bunch of us where together.
Edna was always such a friendly person. Always had a smile. Dave and I visited at Millers even when he wasn’t working there as the driver . prayers for the family as I know you will miss her greatly. Lois and David Renner
Thinking of you, Barb. God bless.
Funny enough, othello was the only game that I could beat her at… if I was able to capture two of the corners first.
I used to take care of Edna when she was at Miller’s a few years ago. Such a beautiful, kind and wise woman. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will be putting Edna’s name in at church to have some masses said in her name.
Aunt Edna was such a powerful force. The few times we were able to visit over the years from the East or West coast, she was always planning and preparing for the day and/or the next event. VERY capable, VERY confident, VERY giving in her ways, so much energy and perseverance. Grant Edna Eternal Rest Oh Lord and may Your Perpetual Light Shine Upon Edna. Pax Christi to all the cousins!
