Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Thoughts and prayers for the Schellenberg family during this difficult time. I have many fond memories of Bob while growing up in the old neighborhood. We went to grade school together, rode Honda trail 70’s together, playing baseball on empty lot behind Daupert’s and my parents house on Markwood. So very sorry for your loss. 2. Thank you for our special friendship and love, Bob. You were there when I needed so badly to talk that night and now you are there with him. Hug him big for me and I told him to welcome you with a big hug, too! I sure will miss our talks. And as always….love you. ❤️

  3. Would you please forward the following private message to the family of the deceased at an appropriate time? Thank you. My sincere condolences on your loss. I pray that memories of happier times will see you through your time of grief! “God gave us memory so we might enjoy roses in winter.” I am a respected researcher of Mennonite genealogy, and would like to connect you and your loved one to your family and ancestry, which I am unable to do given the information in his obituary. My on-line project contains over 500,000 individuals, including thousands of Schellenbergs (among them my direct ancestors), but neither it nor major sources show any identifiable link to Bob or his/your family. It would be tragic if your legacy/descendancy were lost. (I felt like someone was walking on my grave when I read your notice, as he shared my full birth name.) Please contact me at an appropriate time if you are willing to share/exchange details. Thank you. All information about living individuals is suppressed to protect your/their privacy. And please excuse this intrusion into your time of grief.

  4. I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Schellenberg’s passing. He was one of my favorite customers when I worked for Walgreen’s Pharmacy. All the techs was afraid of him, I wasn’t he would try to get to me and I would give it right back to him, which made it fun for both of us:-) Your family is on my prayers.
Not sure why this is posting under my sons Facebook. Sorry.

Bob is my birth namesake, although he is nearly 20 years younger than me. You will note that I changed my birth surname (for professional reasons)
