Wallace "Gene" Eugene Nidey
December 19, 1923 ~ August 29, 2019
Wallace Eugene Nidey, 95, of Terre Haute, passed away August 29, 2019. He was born December 19, 1923, in Terre Haute, to the late Glen and Clara (Bowman) Nidey.
Gene proudly served in the United States Army and Airforce for 23 years, and was also in World War II. Gene was a member of Krietenstein American Legion Post 104 in Terre Haute. Gene enjoyed traveling and camping in his motorhome. He also liked to go to garage sales to find the next knickknack to place at his home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Nidey and a sister, Wanda Maxine Forsythe.
Survivors include his brother, Darrell Nidey.
