Michael R. Morgan, 70, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 13, 2019. Mike was born November 7, 1948, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Rex Wallace and Irma Eileen (Morris) Morgan. He married Patricia (Kirby) on March 27, 1967; she survives.

Mike graduated from Cascade High School in 1966. He served as a police officer with the Tucson Arizona Police Department. He was employed at Chrysler and enjoyed being a truck driver for 20 years at Roadway Express, before taking a medical retirement in 1995. Mike was a devoted member of Life Line Baptist Church and enjoyed studying his many Bibles. He was an avid reader, loved baseball, playing his guitar, and was a member of Teamsters Local Union #135. Mike was a strong man and was described by his family as loving, fun, and tender-hearted. His memory will be cherished by a loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia Ann; children, Donna Lynn Morgan, Rex Michael Morgan, and Ruth Ann (Pastor Tim) Lindsey, all of Indianapolis; brother, Dennis J. (Linda) Morgan of Cloverdale; sisters, Marsha Costello of Nevada, Marilyn (Bob) Suhay of Arizona, and Cheryl Morgan of Camby; grandchildren, Cameron Rex Morgan, Mason Joel Morgan, Abigail Ann Lindsey, Timothy Alan Lindsey III, Brett Enrique Morgan, and Allison Elaine Lindsey.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 17, 2019, 4 to 8 p.m., at Life Line Baptist Church, 13387 N. Slideoff Road, Camby and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the church. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.
