He was the big brother I never had . When I was 16 , he let me drive his falcon sprint 4 speed 289 bad boy !! I got a ticket and he paid it so I wouldn’t get in trouble, I truly Loved that MAN !!!❤️ߙϰߏ»
He was the 2nd biggest man I ever knew. But always a teddy bear. My son & I are better off for having him in our lives. That smiling laugh will be missed. Mosey on partner
Edward will always be my favorite! Ed kept me smiling and laughing throughout his time with us. He and is family meant so much to me. He and his wife raised an amazing family. He knew he was loved unconditionally by them. He will be greatly missed but always remembered!
He always met me with a smile and a warm hug. When I was little he wld hide money instead of candy at Easter❤️ When I started dating my husband we went to visit Ed and my aunt Bev and he “joked” about getting out his shot gun. He gave me my fiat computer to take to college and he and my aunt Bev wld come to my basketball games when I played and when I coached❤️. I never doubted his love for me, his family, my aunt Bev and all her sisters❤️. I loved him and will miss seeing him
He was an amazing man always willing to lend a hand, had a lot of good talks and memories with this man. Prayers to our family in this hard time.

Thoughts and Prayers to the Tilford family. Jeff and Marie Fleenor
We aare so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. He was the youngest member of Platoon 340 in 1958 at Parris Island. We did not serve together on active duty, but we enjoyed his and Bev’s company at our platoon reunions, when his laugh, jokes and reminiscences entertained each of us. Semper Fidelis, Ed.
