Jane M. Green
80, of Plainfield, passed away on January 11, 2018 at Greenwood Meadows. Jane was born on August 8, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ira Moore and Gladys (Mitchell) Moore.
Jane worked as a teller for First Merchants Bank (Lincoln Federal) for many years before retiring in 2015. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Plainfield Eagles #3207, where she enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends. In her younger years she also was a member of the Tri County Square Dancing Club in Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Gregory; brothers, Virgil Shepherd and William Shepherd.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Jerry Hamner; daughter Terri Scroughams; sisters Martha Collier, Della Moore; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11am at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
