Carol Sue (Ashley) Toncheff

Carol Sue (Ashley) Toncheff, 75, Mooresville, passed away January 14, 2018. Carol was born December 30, 1942, in Evansville, to the late Robert Ashley and Jessie (Hall) Humphrey.

She graduated from F.J. Reiz High School in Evansville. Carol moved to the Mooresville area 25 years ago and worked in housekeeping at the Plainfield Days Inn for several years. A strong Christian, she was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Plainfield. She was an accomplished seamstress and especially enjoyed making quilts. Carol’s memory will be cherished by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Christopher J. Toncheff, to whom she was united in marriage August 22, 1987; daughter, Greta Crabtree; brother, James Ashley of Evansville; sister, Becky McManus of Evansville; three grandchildren, Ashlee, Christopher, and Charlie.

The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 1001 Concord Road, Plainfield, Indiana, 46168.
