Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. One of my most fondest memories as a child is of my Uncle George and Aunt Hazel. They used to come down pretty much every year to visit with the family here in Orlando, Fl. My grandmother Pauline Price was Aunt Hazel’s sister, and they always made us kids feel special. Of course my Uncle George and Uncle Junior were always messing with us kids while the women( Pauline, Vera, and Hazel) were always in the kitchen cooking up some Amazing food. One of my favorite foods were the homemade noodles Aunt Hazel would make. I have never tasted anything else like it. I will never forget either one of them Aunt Hazel or Uncle George you will forever hold a special place in my heart. Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family and friends. Love you always Shelly Anne (Peardon) Batchelor and Family

  2. I have many fond memories of growing up with Aunt Hazel (Sister to my Mom, Pauline Price) and Uncle George (Brother to my Dad, Fred Price). We moved to Florida in 1954.) When we would go to Indiana on summer vacations, we always stayed with Aunt Hazel & Uncle George. We always had the best time. I have a lot of favorite Aunts and Uncles on the Kirk and Price side of our families. Yes when when they would come visit us in Florida, there was a lot of good cooking going on. The men went fishing. My children Scott Peardon and Shelly Anne (Peardon) Batchelor, had so much fun when they would come down and stay for a couple of months. One Christmas growing up, we ended up in the lake where we lived, because my brother through an orange at us while Aunt Hazel, Uncle George, our Uncle Bill and I were taking a ride. Well my Dads, Little John Boat, flooded out because Uncle Bill sped up and we all ended in the lake. Aunt Hazel could not swim and was panicking and my brother Fred Eugene Price, had to swim out & help
her back to shore, it was cold!! What an experienced that was. We will miss you and will always have our memories of a wonderful life together. Love Always your niece, Carol Price Peardon.

  3. Please accept my family’s heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort and peace in fond memories, and The Almighty God’s promise in the Bible, to restore those asleep in death to perfect life on a paradise Earth.

  4. I have pleasant memories of her visits to Colorado Springs. I have fond memories of her being my Mother-in-law. She was a good Grandmother to Catrina, Monica, and Sonja, our daughters( George Gilbert and mine ). She cooked in our kitchen and shared her wonderful recipes. I still use them. Her faith was strong. I am thankful her transition to Heaven was painless accompanied by peace. It gives me joy to think of the people who are greeting her in heaven and her earthly contributions are being rewarded. I send my deepest heart felt sympathy. Lydia Leiker.

  5. I met Hazel at Meadow Lakes when she came to the Exercise Room. She was such a pleasant, friendly lady to talk to. I will remember Hazel as an attractive “young looking” 96 year old lady who always kept herself looking nice. I am thankful that I knew her, if only for a short time. I will miss her. Prayers to her family.
