  1. Shirley (Mom) gave me one of the greatest gifts in my life. Her son, my husband. She raised a wonderful, caring and deeply loving man and gentleman. I will forever be grateful to her for that. I believe in my heart that I had the “Shirley Seal of Approval” as a daughter-in-law, and that made me very proud. Had a lot of good times and fun stories about trips we had taken with Shirley too. I am one of the only people that can say they “went to Hell” with their mother-in-law (I did, we went to a town called Hell in the Grand Cayman Islands). We both thought that was funny.
Truly a woman with a heart of gold, and bigger than life.

  2. You I meant everything to me! I helped you but you helped me so much more than you will ever know. I was a better person for even knowing you and I don’t know how I’m going to make it without you. You will always be my best friend!!

  3. Dear Sweet Friend, You were there thru the good and the bad times. We talked of many things, God blessed me abundantly when you became my friend. What a gift He gave me. Now rest my sweet friend. Mary Ellen
