Julia A Remster

85 of Mooresville, passed away October 9, 2017. Julia was born on May 25, 1932 in Morgan County, Indiana to the late Hobart and Zepha (King) Cherry. Julia worked in environmental services for 17 years at Kendrick Hospital, before retiring.

Julia enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and her beloved cats. However, it was her family that brought her the most joy and was a special lady who will be dearly missed by her family! She also attended First Baptist Church in Mooresville.

She was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Remster, children; James Eric May, Jerry Lynn May.

Survivors include her son, John May; daughters, Janet Barley, Joy (Ben) Bowen, Jill (Donnie) Haddock, and Judi (Paul) Gibson; brother; James (Verna) Cherry, sister; Barbara Fransisco, step-sons, Rick Remster, Scott Remster, Troy Remster, and Danny (Sharon) White; step-daughter, Lisa (Steve) McDonald; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather on Thursday Oct 12th, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday Oct. 13, in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mooresville Cemetery.
