Thomas W. Cassidy, 76, of Camby, passed away on September 5, 2017. Tom was born on September 25, 1940 in Covington, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Freda (Coonse) Cassidy.
Tom retired from Chevy Truck and Bus after 30 years of service, retiring in 1991. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of West Newton Masonic Lodge. He was mechanically inclined and could fix just about anything, especially lawn mowers. Some of the things he enjoyed most were watching the Indiana Pacers, taking naps and sneaking food to his dogs. Spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Brothers Kenneth Lee and Monty Gene Cassidy, and sisters, Rose Pratt and Marjorie Sharp preceded Tom in death. Tom also had two grandchildren that preceded him in death; Tyler H. Cassidy and Bethany K. Bailey.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years; Gwendolyn C. (King) Cassidy, daughter; Brenda K. Bailey, son; Thomas R. Cassidy, siblings; Harold “Butch” Cassidy, Kenneth “Chuck” Cassidy, Martha Nunn, two grandchildren; Brad Cassidy, Cody Cassidy and four great grandchildren.
