Ilene Jessup
95, Paragon, passed away on August 8, 2017 at her home. Ilene was born on September 28, 1921 in Morgan County, Indiana to the late Curtis and Eva (Stierwart) Collier.
Ilene worked as a hairdresser for over 35 years out of her home. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, arranging flowers and gardening. She was a 50 year plus member of the Eminence Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Jessup, children; Richard, Harrison Jessup, James Thomas Jessup, David Jessup, Barbara Ann Jessup and Janet Marie Jessup.
Survivors include her son; Steve Jessup and his wife Teresa, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday August 11th from 4-7pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. A Celebration of Ilene’s Life will be held Saturday August 12th at 10:00am at Fairfield Friends Church, Camby, where she was a longtime member. Burial will follow the services in Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ilene’s memory to the Alaska Christian Church, 7230 Lewisville Rd. Quincy, IN 47456 OR to the Fairfield Friends Church, Old Church Building Restoration Fund PO Box 45 Camby, IN 46113.

Ilene was faithful to Alaska Christian Church while living in our neighborhood and we as the church family at ACC send our love and prayers to Steve and Teresa and the grandchildren during this time of her passing. She will always be remembered for her beautiful flowers and good cooking.Illene loved her family!
