October 29, 1956 ~ June 14, 2017

Patty Miles Boner, 60, Sebring, Florida and Mooresville, passed away suddenly after a heart procedure, June 14, 2017. Patty was born October 29, 1956, in Greencastle, to the late Elijah “Lucky” Miles and Joan (Shinn) Eaton.

Patty attended Monrovia High School and had worked for a number of years at the Mitsubishi Plant and at CEVA Logistics. She was employed for many years at Mooresville Meat Packing. Patty’s love for her family was simply unmatched – she loved boldly and always supported her children. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, always looking forward to the next sporting event or just spending time together. Patty knew how to care for her family.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary and the Eagles. She enjoyed playing Bingo and proudly served as the Vice President of the mobile home park where she resided in Florida. Always quick witted, she ran her campaign on the slogan, “Don’t be a loner, vote for Patty Boner!” Patty’s wit, bubbly personality, and compassion for her loved ones will be forever remembered by her family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, John R. Boner; daughters, Nicole Miles, Kaci Earls, Lisa Simmons; step-daughters, Megan Adams (Bill) and Melissa Madson (Mark); brothers, Steve Miles, Mark Eaton, and Chuck Eaton; sister, Paula Uberto; step-father, Charles Eaton; half- siblings, Danny, Mark, Terry, Michael Miles, and Diane Preston; grandchildren, K.C. Earls, Karter Simmons, Devin, Riley, Eli, Tyler; great grandchildren, Zophia, Ameyah, and Cohen.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of Patty Miles Boner on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 4 to 7 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. An opportunity to share memories will begin at 7 p.m. and will close with a brief prayer. Burial will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, in White Lick Cemetery. Because of the suddenness of Patty's death, the family would kindly encourage contributions to help offset funeral costs.
