  1. Dear Aunt Maralene,
The devotion you and Cliff shared in your marriage was exceptional.
You were extremely generous in giving counsel to so many, day or night.
We both loved dark chocolate and sharing recipes. In particular, a cookie recipe you gave me that you didn’t know the name of. When I baked them for people I said they were called “Maralenes”. You never shied away from learning new things on your computer. I so appreciated the healing I received from you after my Mother’s passing (your sister – Beverley). We wrote so many letters and emails to each other and had such great belly laughs during our calls that went on for hours!
The past years were difficult and you never lost your enduring spirit throughout.
Thank you to all that gave my Aunt such great help and care. A very special Thanks to the entire Hornaday family!
    With love, Robin and Budd

  2. It was a pleasure to have met you the couple of short brief interactions that we had together while caring for you during your stays. Thanks for all the laughs and smiles. It was truly my pleasure meeting you and sharing my wedding stories a long with other stories with you. RIH, fly high with those wings that you gained. You will be missed my friend.
