I offer prayers of comfort and healing to Cheryl’s family. I was blessed to know Cheryl as far back as High School (Cheryl graduated in 1966, one year ahead of me) at which time we became friends and we even worked on a couple of projects together. May God bless her family, and help them to cope with the sorrow of their loss.
With love and prayers,
Larry Gajderowicz (MHS — 1967)
So Sorry Steve, I have known Cheryl since the 60s. I remember when you two were dating. I worked at Hook Drugs with Cheryls’ Mother Barbara. Prayers for your Family. Clara Rodgers
Hi Steve, Barbara and Family we want u all to know that we share in your sorrow for your loss. We have known Cheryl for many years and have had many great conversations with her. Cheryl is a very good and sweet lady. May we say that only God will give u peace at this trying time in your lives. God Bless all of u. Alice and Dennis Robinson
A life well lived. The memories of my childhood are sweetly remembered by years of twirling with the Barbara’s Twirlettes. I spent many hours with Cheryl admiring her penmanship, she taught me how to be steady and watching her be so patient with the students gave me a good role model. May she rest in peace and watch over us.

Steve, Chet and I are so sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing. Our Thoughts and Prayers to you during this sad time. Chet & Denise Gibbs
No one loved Mooresville than Cheryl and Steve. One of her shining accomplishments is the Pioneer Park swimming pool. Without her guiding the project for decades at the sorority and then helping with the study that justified the expenditure it would not have happened. We will miss them so but are relived she no longer suffers.
Steve, we were so sorry to hear about Cheryl. Your phone call on Tuesday morning blew us away. It certainly was not what we expected to hear. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I’m very sure that she and Bill are looking down on us from heaven. I hope you can find some peace in the fact that she is at rest. We will miss her more than you will ever know. Take care of yourself.
Steve, we are so sorry for your loss. I wish there was something to say to ease your pain but I know there is not. Cherie will be missed by so many. Her infectious smile and laugh – I can still hear it. She had a huge heart and was loved by all who new her. I know that she and dad are having a great time together and that neither of them are in the pain they felt here in their last days. Someday we will all be together again! XOXO Heather, Mike, Zak and Lindzi
To all of you, Cheryl will be so greatly missed there are not words to express it.
What a dear friend and sorority sister. Things won’t be the same without her.
