Guestbook

  1. While I didn’t know Mrs. Ewers personally, I know she was a great person and mother because of how awesome her children are, my longtime friends. This is a rough part of life to deal with that you never truly get over, but you learn to continue because that’s what they would want. Lean on your family and friends for support. We’re here for you.

  2. Christina, Prayers to you and your family. I’m sorry for your loss. Mothers have such a special place in our lives and our hearts. She’s now your guardian angel.

  3. I did not know Lela but a few years. Words simply cannot express what we are feeling at his time of loss. She was a great inspiration to many and her never ending hard work with inmates through Indiana CURE accomplished so much and will never be forgotten. She kept up with her duties to CURE and still made time for her family and friends and struggled through many health issues never letting anything get her down for long. I guess God finally thought it was time for her to rest. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. I never knew her family but pray you will find peace and strength to go forward. Time will ease the sorrow but keeping her in our memories will ease the soul. Look to God for your strength and peace and know she will forever be in our memory. Woody and Clara Blenkenship

  4. I’m very sorry for your loss. The Bible can offer much comfort at this difficult time. John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.” For more information please go to http://www.JW.org.

  5. I met Ms. Lela during a time of difficulties. She was a sweet person. I attended the InCure meetings with her. She was a lovely person and willing to help others. Heaven has gained an angel. She’ll be missed. With Deepest Sympathy, Tamarria Day Fernandez
