On behalf of the Socit de Police – IPD Adam & Edward, our condolences to the family and friends of, our fellow, John T. Ferguson Jr. For the seventh time over the month of October 2016, I, again announced with great sadness the loss of another fellow from our LEO circle. John T. Ferguson Jr., known to many as ‘Fergie’ was sworn as an IPD Officer 22 Sep 1969 and served as an IPD Traffic Motorcycle Officer over many years on the job until his retirement in Dec 2007. Retirement didn’t keep him from his forte of being a motor officer as he served in the reserve program afterward as well. To the family and friends the Group offers the following thought at this most resent loss from our presence: For each thorn, there’s a rosebud For each twilight — a dawn For each trial — the strength to carry on For each storm cloud — a rainbow For each shadow — the sun For each parting — sweet memories when sorrow is done – Ralph Waldo Emerson ~ Salute! | Eternal Rest Cycle 31 | Requiem ternam | Hooah ~
My sons enjoyed their Uncle Fergy tremendously he always thought of them when it mattered most R.I.P. you will be missed
In 1981-82, John was my primary FTO @ IPD. I learned a lot from him and he will be missed.
Please accept my family’s heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort in fond memories, and The Almighty God’s promise in the Bible, to restore those asleep in death to perfect life on a paradise Earth.
I’m very sorry for your loss. Bible can’t offer much needed comfort at this difficult time. John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs Will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection life.” For more information please go to http://www.JW.org.
