  1. Sorry for your loss. We will be praying for comfort and peace for the family. The Nicholsons: Chris, Faith, Jeremy, Erica, Dominic, Kristen, Emory, and James.

  2. Although Matt and I have not seen each other much over the years’ ,when we were kids we were inseparable . I met Matt in second grade when he moved back to Greencastle from I think Evanston, Illinois. I think we may have spent everyday together from then until high school . We played drums together, .basketball ,chess, football , swimming in our backyard pool and about anything else a kid should do. Matt and I were going to be chemist and shared a lab in my basement. We loved to draw and make art spending a lot of time in the Art Club. He talked me into going out for football . He had more faith in me than I did. Matt always got great Christmas presents. I couldn’t wait to show him my presents, but every time his were nicer! I might have been a little jealous at times, but we had great fun. He was a very important influence as I grew up. My sister called me just a few minutes ago to tell me of his passing. I am very blessed to have spent my youth around Matt and his Family. I am also obviously very saddened to hear of his passing but I know he was surrounded by family and friends who loved him very much. Matt was a wonderful man and one of a kind. We wil miss him and cherish his memory memory! Our thoughts , prayers and memories of Matt are with his family and friends. Fred Green, class of ’73’

  3. I was so sorry to hear of Matt’s passing. I had not been aware that he had been sick so it was quite a surprise to me. I want to pass my condolences on to his Mother and the rest of his family. I have said a Baha’i prayer to help ease his passage to the next world. It is never easy losing a loved one but he will always live on as long as he is remembered by friends and family, so he is guaranteed to live for a very long time.

  4. I first encountered Matt when he worked with ‘Taco’ and the Satellite drive in. What a character he was. Condolences to the family.

  5. Matt was one of the finest people i ever knew. The world is a lesser place without him. All the best to his family. I`m glad to have had the time i did with him. Jeff Stouder

  6. I am very sorry for your loss. The Bible can provide much-needed comfort at this difficult time. John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things for resurrection of life.” For more information please go to http://www.JW.org.
