Susan F. Nelis

Susan F. Nelis, 58, Mooresville, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away at home on August 12, 2016. Susan was born January 28, 1958, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to the late Leonard and Myrtle Penrod.

Susan attended school in South Bend and furthered her education in cosmetology. She worked for several years in the food court at the University of Indianapolis. Susan enjoyed the comforts of her home, especially spending time with her loyal canine babies, Harley and Baby Girl.

Survivors include her loving husband, David Nelis; children, Dennis Hardy and Jenna Penrod; siblings, Leonard and Vernia Penrod; grandchildren, Benjamin Douglas Hardy and Jordin Burch; great grandchild, Jaycie Belle Truax.
