Karol Ann Glissman, 60 of Indianapolis passed away February 9, 2016 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 2, 1955 in Axtell, Kansas to Callistus A. and C. Georgina (Engelken) Glissman; her mother survives in Seneca, Kansas.

Karol was employed as a Waitress and Hostess at the Paragon Restaurant in Indianapolis

Along with her father, Karol was also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Glissman.

Other survivors include her five brothers, James Glissman of Plainfield, Indiana, David Glissman of Corning, Kansas, Keith Glissman of Burlington, Kansas, Brian Glissman of Seneca, Kansas and Eric Glissman of Rolla, Missouri; three sisters, Kathy Stamper of Danville, Indiana, Phyllis Glissman of Sabetha, Kansas and Patricia Edwards of Danville, Indiana; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 12 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville, Indiana. Final care and cremation arrangements were entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville, Indiana. Burial and Rosary will take place at a later date in Karol’s home state of Kansas.

  1. We were neighbors to Kathy, Phyllis, and Karol and would spend some Sunday afternoons walking back and forth about a mile to each others homes to play, many fun memories. I am so sorr. Thinking of all of you at this time.
