Steven Shreiner

Steven Shreiner, 80, Mooresville, formerly of Elkhart, died January 26, 2016. Mr. Shreiner was born June 9, 1935, in Elkhart, to the late Dewey and Blanche Shreiner.

Mr. Shreiner graduated from Elkhart High School and Indiana University, where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He worked for Elkhart Brass for many years, was the owner of Shreiner Popcorn and Candy in the Pierre Moran mall, and most recently was employed at Martins Super Market.

Mr. Shreiner was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Holyfield) Shreiner.

Survivors include his stepsons, John Almont Pierce of Mooresville and Blake Ashley Pierce of Elkhart; brother, Jack Shreiner of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, 11 a.m., in Ox Bow Park, Fisherman’s Camp Shelter. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
