  1. Dear Jodi and Tiffani, I was so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing! I sure did enjoy visiting your home when Tiffani and I would come home from college. You and Joe always treated me so well and made me feel that I was important! I will keep you in prayer through the upcoming days and just know that I’m here to help in anyway I can. I’m just a short trip away so I will be glad to come help with anything that needs to be done around the house on the weekends when you feel up to it. Lots of love and prayers are coming your way. Thanks for being such an important part of my life. I’m so glad that God gave me the chance to be friends with all of you. Lots of love, Julie Canady

  2. Tiff and Jodi, Sending hugs from West Virginia…..My childhood wouldn’t have been the same without Joe and Jodi 🙂 Thanks to Tiff wanting to bring along a friend I was able to go to many Indians Baseball games year after year, to the houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake, and many dinners at the Waverly Inn 🙂 I would have never learned to ice skate or how to water ski if Joe wouldn’t have taught me how! Water skiing continues to be a love of mine, and I will always think about Joe when I water ski. Sending my Love and Hugs, Mandy, Dan, Levi and Cooper Morris

  3. Jodi we have nothing but fond memories of our times together. The numerous trips to Dale Hollow ( including our 1st date ), numerous times of going out to eat with you and Joe ( especialy Frank’s in Pittsboro), the participation in our wedding, with Joe being Steve’s Best Man, the car trips especially the one to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg festival and just the enjoyment of spending many fabulous times with the two of you. Steve always considered Joe as his mentor whether it was skiing, fishing or work related, and it was Joe who got Steve hooked on Case knives which is being carried on by one of our sons. Joe had such an influence on Steve, and actually both of us, which is why one of our twins middle names is Joseph. We could go on and on about the memories we continue to cherish, but suffice to say we love you, rest in peace Joe. Steve & Diane Iles

  4. Dear Jodi, Tiffani & family, I am sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He was a pleasant person to know. I hope you find comfort in knowing he is at peace and a well deserved rest. Sincerely, Peggy & David Shirar
