Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Here are a few of my favorite moments…. Sneaking in the garage while Grandpa was working on a car, just watch and I loved the smell, eating corn bread and milk and when he would come home from squirrel hunting. He would let me help skin and clean them. Although I never got to go hunting or fishing with him because it wasn’t a ‘girl’ thing to do, I appreciate everything he did let me help with. I’m blessed to have of these memories and I couldn’t be more happier that my oldest son Larry George, got to spend a week with him before his surgery and got to experience fishing with Gramdpa. We will cherish the memories. We love you and will miss you dearly Grandpa!!

  2. Dad. you will never know how much you will be missed and loved by so many people. There is such a life long of memories you will leave with me..And I know are at peace. I love you. Kathy

  3. The Lord Giveth and the Lord Taketh Away Robert Lester Williams was given to this world to be called son, brother, husband, father, and so forth. Now the Lord has taken him to sit at His side. The world is now left with only memories. May those memories live forever in our hearts and minds. The words of wisdom that you told us. And the things you taught each of us will never be forgotten. Now we must pass those things on and let the world know where they came from. I consider it a privilage and an honor to call you both Uncle and Friend. Love Roger

  4. My Uncle Lester, I can’t help but feel we were robbed of many more years with you and I have a hole in my heart missing you. I have so many memories going back to when I was little all the way up to you knowing my kids. You were the first visitor to the hospital when Delaney was born. I’ll never forget looking up and seeing you in your bib overalls. Cameron is hurt he will not ever get to know fishing with you on your boat but he will carry on the fishing tradition for sure – he has it in his bloodline from two great uncles. I will miss you Uncle Lester. Love, Sandy
